"What a doll. [Gypsy] really has adjusted well, and is full of love, licks and a spirit of adventure. Amazingly, the first night went extremely well.
Thanks again for the wonderful care and foundation that you provided."

"Fiona" is an unusual black Tervuren, getting her color from her dam's Chech lines. She is slighter built than Flash, with a lot more "femininity" to her over all look. Straight and correct, she is a beautiful specimen of the breed, and is often remarked upon. Athough in other countries and registries Fiona would be classified as a Belgian Groenendael /or/ Belgian Sheepdog (as known in America), to the AKC she has Tervuren papers.

(We at True Knight believe that the coat varieties written into the original Chien do Berger Belge ought to be allowed to stand together, as first put down. So we encourage the diversity of all coat ranges within our group dogs, knowing that descrimination on coat type alone weakens the strength of other points: Health and temperaments, particularly.)

Puppy shots.

A ladylike dog in almost every way, and Fiona is very studious in her manner. She picks up on cues very fast, and quickly becomes reliable in her responses. She passes on high enough play drives to her puppies for them to compete well in any sport. (See her in action on the Videos page.)

She is gentle with the cats and littler dogs, but not afraid to hold her own against a threat.

Black Belgian Shepherd (Tervuren) TK Lady Fiona, autumn 2016

Flash & Fiona double dog drill.

Fiona in her winter coat.
...and after shedding all her hair!

Though many people would call any black Belgian Shepherd a "Groenendael" (outside the states) or a "Belgian Sheepdog" (referring to the American Kennel Club's name for the "Groens") Fiona's parents had Belgian Tervuren papers, so the AKC views her as a Belgian Tervuren.

"...She is truly becoming Echo the Wonder Dog just like her grandpa Flash. Echo's special magic continues to be finding people who need her anywhere we go. I don't know how she does it. [...] She is pure magic, and possibly part unicorn!"

Kate R. in Utah; professional psychologist and former "cat person" along with her husband. Her True Knight dog for therapy work has converted them both to "Terv lovers" now! {As evidenced by update on their 2nd True Knight pup, below.}

"...[Jake got] Bravo the Hakuna Matata collar, because it perfectly sums up his personality. His new favorite past time is bouncing around the back yard chasing butterflies [...] It is basically the cutest thing ever!"

"Within 3 days of arriving [Reagan] knew Sit, down, stay, go lay down, and kennel commands. She is without a doubt the smartest Dog I have ever known.... I can say nothing but positive things. Double-K made my total experience of getting the dog of my dreams easy."
