"Teddy Bear" (above ^) sires all our HighParks, he measures approximately 44" at shoulder, you can see as he walks next to this normal 4' fence, and he is sooo much shorter than it!

Chemical free, we do not vaxx, our young stock have never been sick or doctored... as naturally healthy as they come! Born and raised here at the ranch, we finish on pasture only, all natural rotational grazing operation. We work them on foot or horseback, very low key. Used to electric fence.

(We can work out delivery if you don't have a trailer.) Some of these are being born year around, so weaning availability is as they come of age. We welcome folks to come out and take a look at them ahead of time!

Story Time:

Upon the 2016 move to Missouri, we had to re-start the herd with the least expensive entry stock we could find, and built herd numbers to about 40 mother cows; Corriente X roping stock heifers were really durable as a mama herd. Roy & dad experimented with various bulls on them, nothing really took off there, but we were happy to be offering healthy beef for ourselves and others. As the guys' entered what would be their last years, choatic decision making created a lot of friction in the ranch operation, broke Abi's heart when dad unilaterally sold the mama cows out completely in 2023.

But after the guys' funerals in early 2024, the Lord brought us new opportunities, and we're now rebuilding herd numbers in the mini-size category. Introduced to the Mini HighPark via a bull which came our way; both of us are absolutely loving the compact, easy to work with size on these beefs, combined with the stunningly high efficiency load of muscle, and they are super cute looking to boot!

We currently run our "Teddy Bear" on a small number of mini-Angus mamas, mini-X mamas, and others as we work with the neighborhood group to maximize efficiency of the small herd numbers we're all deaing with at present. It's been a great experience, and we're looking forward to being able to offer more butcher beef steers, as well as make more breeding stock heifers and bulls availabile.
