Bright Chief Plaudit ~ 2020 Leopard stallion.

"Chief" is a beautiful bi-colored full leopard stallion from foundation appaloosa stock, built handy in body and in mind!
He has always had a gentle, "thinking" disposition, loves kids and being scratched.

Got him as a yearling, we've done all his training. Done miles and miles of outside riding, through pastures, woods, water, along highways and into town. Totally traffic safe, even for semis!

Used him to give lessons as a 3 yr old stud; he's worked hard all day chasing cows through thick brush and he don't give out. Swing a rop, pull logs, pony colts or work horses in pastures, Chief can do it all with gusto and grit.
Been in the local parade, he's won prizes and ribbons. Always gets tons of compliments on his color, personality and disposition!

Great in rough country & step hills. Crosses water, bridges & loges. Smooth moving really walks out well, he has out-walked some gaited horses. Great with all other horses, good ground manners. Catch him in the pasture & ride him bare back in a halter. Comes over to a stump for mounting. No spook. Side passes, opens gates, neck reins, backs & takes both leads. Good with his feet. Sound.

He and I pulled a boat around the pond, he never acted  unsure of it, even when it floated up and bumped into his hip.

This spring I pulled him out of the breeding pasture with mares and took him to a week long trail ride with 80+ other horses and mules. He was level headed and wonderful, folks were amazed at how well behaved he was, most said they never would have guessed he was a stud with how calm he was round all the other horses.

Goes back to a ton of the "old greats"... WigWam, Kiowa Brave, Bright Eyes Brother, Bandido, Plaudit, etc. Plaudit's VIP, Plaudit's Skip A Rue & Red Plaudit. His lineage would be ApHC accepted, but one line 'fell out' when DNA was introduced and the rancher didn't keep up while Cheif''s grandparents passed away.

He is standing to all mares, of any breed/grade. 6 Panel tested clean.

$500 stud fee, 30 days to catch 2 heats, $5 a day mare-care/ pasture board.
